About the Artist
My practice combines photography and sculpture, with a focus on alternative methods of photographic display. Exploring materiality and form as essential elements of the work itself. By allowing images to exist as physical objects in space, I aim to challenge conventional expectations of photography and encourage viewers to engage with the work in a more tactile and spatial way.
I spend significant time refining lighting, composition, and staging until an image feels resolved. My process is flexible and evolving, with an openness to revision allows my work to evolve naturally and strengthens the relationship between the concept and the execution.
I’m often inspired by my late uncle, whose wildlife photography first encouraged me to pick up a camera and pursue photography. At the core of my practice is a desire to create joyful, visually engaging work that invites reflection. In a world that can often feel stressful or negative, I hope my art offers moments of beauty, humor, and quiet contemplation.
